GSAx per $1M of cap hit
+0.37 goals
GSAx (goals saved above expected) compares the goals a goalie allowed with the goals our shot model expected him to allow. It feeds the goalie performance score, which is blended over three seasons and ranked against the current goalie pay distribution. Goalie pay is hard to predict and a partial season is a small sample, so treat the grade as a market benchmark. High-danger shots are those with an expected-goal value of 0.20 or higher.
